Meta charges per delivered template message and bills it directly to your own WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) at Meta's published rates, which vary by country and category. StartMessaging never charges per message: there is no wallet, no credits and no markup. You pay us only for your plan.

Since 1 October 2026, Meta charges every delivered template message — marketing, utility (even inside the 24-hour customer service window) and authentication. Service replies inside the 24-hour window are free up to a monthly allowance per phone number, then charged. When a customer messages you from a Click-to-WhatsApp ad, a 72-hour free entry point window opens. Check Meta's pricing page for the current rules and rates.

Yes. Each account owner gets one 14-day free trial of the Business plan, for up to 3 people, 1,000 contacts and 1,000 API messages. It includes chatbot flows, A/B tests, segments and the sales pipeline, so you can see what Business adds. Before it ends, choose Developer, Team or Business, billed monthly or yearly.

If you have not chosen a plan, the workspace moves to Developer Free: the API (100 messages a month) and a view-only dashboard. Nothing is deleted — your chats, contacts and campaigns stay. The same happens when a paid plan is cancelled or not renewed. Choose a plan again to reply, add contacts and send campaigns.

A seat is one teammate who replies to customers — an owner, admin, manager or agent. Team includes 3 seats and Business 10; each extra seat is ₹199/month or ₹1,990/year. Viewers, who only read chats, are free and never take a seat.

Yes, from the Billing page. A change of plan, billing period or seats applies as soon as it is paid — downgrades too — and the unused days of your current plan are refunded. If you cancel, you keep full access until the end of the period you paid for; after that the workspace moves to Developer Free.

Yes. Every price is in Indian rupees (INR) and includes 18% GST, and you get a GST invoice for every payment. Add your GSTIN in billing details to claim input tax credit. Billing is in INR only, in every country.

Developer is for apps that send WhatsApp messages through the REST API — order updates, alerts, one-time codes — and only need a view-only dashboard. It is priced by API messages a month. Team is for people who reply to customers: it adds the shared inbox, contacts, campaigns, auto-replies and unlimited API messages under fair use. Both keep the same workspace and API keys, so you can move up any time.

StartMessaging is a Meta Tech Provider built on the official WhatsApp Business Platform. You connect your own WhatsApp Business Account through Meta's Embedded Signup, so your number, templates and message billing stay in your own account.

None at all. There are no setup fees or cancellation charges. Plans are billed monthly or yearly (12 months for the price of 10), and you can upgrade, downgrade or cancel from the Billing page in your dashboard.
